Subscription won't let me pay!

One hub won't let me do a cloud backup and points me to Subscriptions & Bundles. That link takes me to Bundle: Hub Protect + Remote Admin. When I select "Subscribe Now" I get to page that says the price is $63/year but with no way to actually pay.

How can I give them my money?

I have three hubs and all say cancellation is pending. I don't remember doing that and I want all three to have cloud backup + Remote Admin.

Try logging out from the upper right hand corner, close the tab and re accessing the page from the hub ui.

Please submit a subscription case by visiting the following page and we would be more than happy to look into your account to see what's going on:

The problem is likely that you already have Remote Admin on your account, either through a bundle or a stand alone service, so there’s no need to sign up for an additional bundle.

To have multiple hubs fully covered by both services, you need one bundle and individual Hub Protect or Cloud Backup.

Depending on what services you already have, we’ll guide you on the best setup for your environment.

This is what I get rather than the option to create a cloud backup

Looks like you had 2 Hub Protect subscriptions for the same hub ("Lighting"). One that started on July 2024 and one that started on April 2025. When the older one was cancelled, it disabled the Hub Protect on your hub, even though you still have active service from the new subscription. If you didn't do so already, please go to your hub, then navigate to Backup and Restore and select "Reload entitlements" to reactivate the service locally. Let us know if that doesn't solve your issue.

Running the "Reload entitlements" solved the problem,
Many thanks,

Glad to hear. :+1:

Please note that all three of your Hub Protect subscriptions are currently in a “Pending Cancellation” status. At this time, there’s no option for users to resume a subscription once it’s set to expire.

When your current subscriptions end, you’ll need to re-subscribe at the then-current pricing, which means the existing pricing will no longer apply.

If you’d like us to reactivate your services, please let me know. We’re actively working to add the ability to reactivate subscriptions in “Pending Cancellation” status, though I don’t have a timeline for when that feature will become available.

Hi Bobby, will that upcoming change enable users to subscribe to something new if a cancel is pending?

I am interested in moving from Protect to Cloud Backup (or maybe have both), but I can't add Cloud Backup since my current Protect is pending cancellation (I initiated that cancellation in hopes that would allow me to add Cloud, but no joy).

My current plan is to wait till my Protect expiration date and immediately sign up for Cloud Backup (and hopefully not lose access to my current cloud backups, but maybe I will?)

So if I could add Cloud Backup prior to that Protect cancelation, I'd sleep better at night.

Thanks for any thoughts!

No, because the store will not be able to offer prorated credit/refund, so wouldn't be fair to double charge users with an active service, even though it will not be renewed.

I'd send a note to support. We should be able to help you sleep better at night: Subscriptions – Hubitat Support
