Subnet mask fixed at 255.255.255.0

The Hubitat subnet mask seems to be fixed at 255.255.255.0 . I am honestly running out of addresses and would love to add another 255 (or even more) address to my primary VLAN range, but this Hubitat limitation is stopping this from happening.

It would be cool if this could be user specified rather than fixed.

I think this can be changed, but @gopher.ny can comment with more authority than me.

Last time I checked, it could not be changed. The Hubitat documentation currently says that it is fixed at 255.255.255.0.

I searched thru some old posts and found that this is a common complaint going back quite a ways.

Static IP Address and DHCP Support for non /24 Subnets

I am surprised that there are not more people having issues with the fact that the Hubitat hub insists that it's in a /24 subnet (from setting screen: Subnet mask is fixed at 255.255.255.0) regardless of what DHCP assigned. [image] It is impossible to assign a /23 (255.255.254.0) static IP address and even though it accepts is IP and gateway address properly, it ignores the subnet mask.
