Subfolders for rules in Rule Machine

Hello:

As I add more and more Rule Machine apps, I am finding I'd like to have folders for groups of rules.

For example, I have 63 rules, 15 of them deal with outdoor irrigation, 11 (so far) deal with various portable buttons, 8 deal with indoor thermostats.

It'd be nice to have these divided into groups to more easily manage them.

I tried to add a second rule machine, but Hubitat was smart enough to not add a rule machine a second time and brought me to adding a rule in the one rule machine. I guess this is a good thing.

Is there a way (other then prefixing each rule with a common word like "Irrigate" or "Button") to group rules into sub-folders?

Maybe this can be added to a feature request?

Thanks, Mark.

I just tried this and nothing is clickable. scratches head

Best to post questions about the Rule Machine Manager in its own topic - the developer gets notified and others using it more likely to see your post.

Put your question there, an clarify by what you mean by "Nothing is clickable" with maybe a screen shot and more details to clarfy what's not clickable.

OK, This is the KIND.

It took me a while to figure out how to get it installed, then use it, but it was a snap after that.

First, you have to install "Hubitat Package Manager" (or HPM) then in there install "Rule Machine Manager" (or RMM.)

I had to do a separate search on DuckDuckGo to find the details for installing Hubitat Package Manager.

The link danabw point at tells you how to install RMM from inside HPM.

Overall, it only took me about 30 minutes to figure out the steps, but it was worth it.

Mark.
