Stuck on Register page - New Setup

Does anybody have any idea how do I get through this? I have managed to setup an account on portal.hubitat.com. I can then see my hub on the page. Clicking on the Register button, I go to another page asking me to complete the registration. When I click on the continue button, I can see that the browser is sending my token to the amazon server…but nothing happens and I come back to the same page.

Any help with this?

Email support @bobbyD will get you sorted!

Can you get to your Hub with its local IP?

Have emailed to support. Waiting for their response impatiently

Can’t wait to get this baby started up!!

Yes i can access the hub on the local IP.

If you go to settings page does it say registered? If it does you should be good to go.

i’m not getting the Settings page. This is my journey:-

Enter local IP address or portal.hubitat.com
Enter my log in i previously created
I see my hub listed, and i click on Register Hub
I come to page asking me to continue Registration. Click on Continue button
Come back to the same page…

I’m asked to login. You’re not explicitly saying you do that step, so I have to ask…

After logging in, since I have a registered hub, I’m offered the same Portal page without the Register button. Just my Hub’s name. I click on the Hub’s name, and I get redirected to my LOCAL hub and it’s local webserver.

I believe, yours would be a little different as you have registered your hub. I’m having difficulties in getting the hub registered. I see the hub on the page, with a green button saying Register Hub. Clicking on it, it then ask me to continue my registration. And that is as far i can go…

Yes, i have logged in with the same results.

Had the same problem. Got lots of help with support and they sorted it.

With me, I think it had something to do with time zone, so maybe check that out first. They will get you sorted.

Thanks. Good to know that I’m not an isolated case. Yea, talking to their support. It looks like mine is a problem with my country ISP - Australia.

Was trolling around the community and noticed that you’re from Australia. Me too. And the support guys seem to be saying that it’s a location issue. What did you do to get the hub working?

I’m on Optus ADSL btw.

In the end, lots of things transpired to get it working.
They took a backup of my setup, patched it, and had me restore it.
However, I think that they just need to narrow it down a bit.
They will work it out. I happened to be up all night so was able to chat back and forth to get it fixed.

Ps. I don’t think it’s ISP related. I’m on Telstra Adsl.

Thanks. Yea, the support team has been working with me on resolving the issue. Looks like there is a fix and will try it when i get back.
