This is just one of those requests to avoid losing the thought - it's not a high priority at the moment.
I see there has been a good bit of thought and some discussion about various places where additional authentication would be useful/necessary/desirable. I would like to put my plug in for supporting one of the standards that allows the use of a Yubikey. I am gradually getting rid of usernames and passwords as more sites and services support the standards this device (and others) use.
... my Google accounts are more secure than my banking acounts (for online transactions) ...
