When I put in a "Stop Action: This Rule when a condition becomes true doesn't work. I am adding a screenshot of my Rule setup. Basically, when the contact opens or if there is motion in the garage, turn on the lights. Turn off the lights if the contact is closed or if there is no motion. The lights turn on fine. My issue is that when the rule goes from true -> false -> true, the delayed off does not get canceled.
You want pending cancellation in your false section. when using a motion sensor and a contact sensor, iād suggest setting up two rules and having the contact sensor rule evaluate the motion rule. the way you have it, if the contact is closed, but there is still motion, then the light will still turn off after 10 min.
