Static IP error for non /24 networks

In Network Setup.
Trying to Switch to static IP of 10.0.0.6 using a /22 subnet, gateway of 10.0.0.1. A valid configuration.

Hubitat refuses, "IP address must belong to subnet 10.0.2.xxx..." which it does under a /22 subnet (10.0.0.1 - 10.0.0.3.255).

There’s a workaround for this, if you browse to an http endpoint with the correct parameters for your subnet entered:

There's a direct endpoint without /24 limitation for those who know what they are doing. The endpoint is /hub/advanced/switchToStaticIp, and it accepts the following query string parameters (names are self-descriptive): address netmask <- use 255.255.254.0 for /23 subnet. gateway nameserver

Yes there is a workaround, I could simply hardcode the ip in my router. The point is, this is a bug in the core hubitat system that needs addressed.

Yes DHCP is fine, it is just the logic in the UI of static IP input which has the bugs. You can set anything else with DHCP or the endpoint provided.
