I was just curious if anyone has messed with the Starling Home Hub. Iām curious how they were able to get Google Nest integration working since Nest integrations were limited when Google acquired them.
It sounds like it's just a reimplimentation of the HomeBridge Nest integration which, for Google accounts, uses the private APIs much like the Hubitat Ring integration. It's not official and could go away at any time.
There are a few of us who have considered doing something similar in HE for the Google accounts and Nest products but I don't think it's happened yet.

I got the Starling Hub in yesterday, works pretty flawlessly for having the Nest stuff show up in the Apple Home App. Would be great to leverage whatever they've done to get it bridged back to HE

Have you heard of anyone implementing this in HE?
Just got my Starling hub, and boy setup was super easy and fast. Seamless surfacing of my new Google doorbell into Homekit. Would be a great to get a direct HE interface going as well, so I don't have to resort to the virtual switch game with Homekit automations.

Would love a hubitat app to bring over the CO/Fire Alarms from Starling
I deployed a Starling Hub last month. It is really well done and has worked flawlessly. If anyone is interested, the Starling hub has its own API. The API could provide an easier way to integrate at least presence and motion alerts than using the google API directly.
