Spruce Irrigation Offline - Replacement Device

This may only be temporary, but access to system fails and their website is down. They've clearly been going out of business for years. It had a lot of great features when I bought it years ago.

Anyway. Looking for one that integrates well with Hubitat...and HUGE value add would be if it has remote soil water sensors that can go in your lawn (flush enough to mow over) to use to determine when it needs to run.

Those sensors were why I brought Spruce to start with.

I just use the Zigbee Spruce Soil sensors connected to Hubitat... I see they have a cloud hub and an app, so that must be what you are talking about. The website is up, you must mean their app server is down.

I don't really know what that app even does, but I just stayed local with the Spruce Zigbee sensors only, and I use my own automations with it on Hubitat.

That makes sense; staying local with the Zigbee sensors is probably the safer route given the situation. Good to know they still work fine with Hubitat without relying on their cloud.

Both the app and their website are down for me ...whether it's from inside my home network ...or just cellular.

IE - I block a LOT of countries with my U7 router...so if it flipped to some backup site it's not that I'm blocking it.

I actually don't want Hubitat controlling watering...just in case while I travel if something went wrong.

I DO want to be able to control it via Hubitat when I do something manual ...or want it to pause.

They are back online...still want to update to a new device.
