Sonos vs Google Mini?

I have a Google Mini that is annoying when it comes to Text To Voice announcements. It is very difficult to get the volume set correctly in Rule Machine rules. Plus it "bonks" before every message (I tried a Hubitat app that was designed to prevent the "bonks" but it required an enormous amount of Hubitat CPU resources).

So I'm think about getting a Sonos Era 100 simply because I've seen a few good mentions. But really, is the Sonos better than the Mini? Experienced opinions invited!

Definitely no “bonks” at the start of TTS notifications played through Sonos.

Ordered the Sonos 100 and Amazon delivered it 4 hours later. Installed it and put it to work, no BONK before notifications! Thanks for the feedback.
