Sonos Logging

Is this normal?
It doesn't bother me, but it does take up a lot of logging space, and I don't want to turn off text logging, as this seems like it is reporting/stopping/unmuting for no reason at all. Is that chewing up unnecessary resources?

Note: intervals are regular, and I'm not using the Sonos for anything, it is just sitting there idle.

I don't have an Arc, so I cannot speak to that device, but none of my Sonos devices report like that. They are 'quite' unless I do something like play or volume etc. Like you said your looks like something is turning the unit on/off repeatedly. It look like it is trying to do something every minutes. That is too consistent to be a fluke.

Do you have any rules that include the Sonos unit? If so try pausing them and waiting till you see it stop. Have you tried rebooting the unit (just for good masseur)? Is that your only Sonos device? Do others report that way?

Same here - never seen that in the logs during "idle" time. Two Sonos One, a Playbar, and a Sub.

Thanks for the responses. Could this be the TV (although off), sending some sort of test signals to the soundbar?

Not anymore. It was my TTS device a few weeks ago, but didn't play nicely (if announcement interrupted music/tv, it would not return to state consistently), so I use Echo Speaks exclusively now with my Echo Dots for TTS.

Rebooted a little while ago. No obvious changes since, but will monitor the logs over 24 hours and report back.

Yes, just this one.

I'll likely remove the device from the Sonos Integration tomorrow and install it again.

I just removed the Arc from the Sonos integration and re-installed it.
Already, it has logged the following within seconds.
Not sure what is happening here for it to be reporting so often

Mine all report in similar fashion. You can turn off the description text logging. And with the newer platform releases cut back the number of event logs and states saved.

I ran into this problem too and tried to turn it off in the App. But that's now how it's done. You need to turn logging off on each Sonos device (which makes sense)
