Sonos Connectivity across local networks

Is there anyway to point the Sonos App to the LAN that the Sonos Speakers sit on?

ie Hubitat sits on 10.10.10.x iot vlan and the Sonos sit on the main Lan 19.168.1.x

Firewall rules are setup allowing Hubitat to connect to the Smart Speakers.

Ping works from Hubitat 10.10.10.8 to 192.168.1.109 Sonos in Office

It looks like Hubitat will only search for Sonos on its own LAN

As it cannot 'see' the Sonos Speakers.

Is there a way to point Hubitat to look at the 192.168.1.x network, then it will see all the speakers.

I don’t know the answer for sure, but the term you’re looking for is “subnet.”

All the devices in your home are on one LAN.

10.10.10.x and 192.168.1.x are two different subnets.

So I believe your question is best stated as, “can Sonos devices be discovered across subnets?”

This looks interesting.

Will read up and return

Some people have reported problems with Hubitat discovery of Sonos devices even when everything is in the same vLAN and subnet--so that could be the problem, but it's possible the fix won't help. Assuming your hub is indeed able to communicate with them, you could try manually adding them if you don't want to rely on discovery (which it appears may indeed need some additional work like you posted above to work between the two). Here's one post on how:
