I guess that's why they also have proximity mode for when the hub is disconnected.
Sonoff website is fixed if you still want to order the water valve
Do you know if it steps down the water pressure for using it for drip applications?
No, it doesn't. But all the drip systems I have seen come with a PRV or pressure regulator so they can hooked up to a supply that is ~60 psi.
I have used my old Orbit Iris valves with a drip system.
Thanks...I was looking at some simple/direct hose-bib connect options that link directly to a drip line. I'll revise my search. ![]()
I helped my neighbor setup his Rachio hose timer to control drip. He ordered a drip pressure reducer from Amazon that connects with standard 3/4 hose bib to drip. Works well.
So basically spigot to Rachio (or Sonoff in your case) to drip pressure reducer to drip tubing.
Thank you @aaiyar ! it's about time I am replacing those Orbit from Lowes Iris. Also ordered 5.
The drip kit I had bought from HF came with something very much like that.
Another choice: Rain Bird pressure reducer
My drip kit came with a reducer and when I worked on everything this last year it broke. A replacement was like $10 at Lowe's. They are pretty cheap.
Thanks Rich. I ended up ordering 2 w/meters and one without. Shipping on the other 2 was almost as much as the non-flow unit. Now I have a few spares.
Did the same thing yesterday. 2 w meters, 1 w/o.
