Sonoff Zigbee sensors issues (Contact &, motion)

I purchased a bunch of Sonoff sensors 6 months ago or so and a lot of them are failing in different ways.

Though their battery are all at 3.0v or more, the contact and motion sensors are starting to drop off and can't be contacted. Resetting them and re-adding them usually works.

Has anyone had these issues and solved them?

Thanks in advance.

I've been struggling with zB motion and dimmer lights for a couple weeks now. Devices are just dropping off - if I factory reset them then go re-add they are 'found - already exists' and pop back on. I've not reported it thinking it's related to all the stuff going on with dates, RM5 etc. and praying it just works itself out. The 2 motion sensors that failed me yesterday were both Samsung Motion Sensors v2, an LED light strip that stopped being able to do Red, and my porch light going on and off at strange times.
The dimmable bulbs hanging were both older OSRAM and I don't trust them. The porch light schedule problem seems fixed (probably related to date / time thing in RM). At this very moment all my devices are functional so I'm hopeful it was just growing pains with HE.

Interesting, so this might be a zB problem, not just a Sonoff problem

What does your Zigbee network look like? Specifically, do you have a lot of repeaters, and do you have any smart bulbs (and if so, what kind)? That last point is particularly important--and perhaps also the cause of the problem posted below yours--because many are known to be poor repeaters that can cause other/non-bulb Zigbee devices to fall off your network. Re-pairing may fix it for a while, at least until they start routing through the bulb again (devices choose their own routes, so you have limited control over that...beyond keeping bulbs on a separate network as is generally recommended).

Some people also report that they think the Sonoff devices have weaker antennas or less range. I can't speak to that, but I guess it would strengthen the need for more repeaters--never a bad idea with Zigbee, anyway.

If neither of those seem likely, I'm not sure...but I'd start there.

I don't have any Zigbee bulbs and all zigbee devices are one room away from the hub (except for the garage temp senors which haven't been a problem).

So no repeaters? That would still probably be a good idea, especially with something being in another room (and if these devices really do have weaker signals). You don't need dedicated "repeater" devices--most mains powered devices repeat, like outlets or switches.

I just have probably similar problem with the Sonoff SNZB-04 contactor sensor.

I used that (enclosed in a box) for my driveway gate and noticed that it has updated its status for some time but last battyer was 100%. I changed the battery but still the same, no event update. I thought it's out of order and going to leave my comment until I found this message. Reset it and it could be added again. I don't have similar issue with other zigbee devices.

So, it's not about the zigbee connection or siginal, it has to be something unreliable in its hardare.
