For no reason ~I can see, several of my sonof plug socket adapters will not respond to alexa voice commands. I have deleted them and then re added them. they will work if I turn them on or off in the devices, but will not work via alexa voice command. I have re added them in the amazon echo skill in the new integration tab but still no joy. Has anyone come across this or know of a solution. T.I.A.
Do they show you as devices in the Alexa app? Can you control them there?
yes, but it appears my problem is bigger, my notifications show that cloud connection is unavailable, there is an update 2.5.0.136 but mine is on 2.5.0.123 and says no updates available .
managed to get things going again. but had to rename items, for some reason alexa would not work with the original names. e.g. had to change laser to lazer.
