@murray.sean.d : I got some iris contact V1. They join ok but report nothing. What type of device did you assign to them ?
Iris V1 Contact Sensor. I have a bunch of these, and they work OK.
I probably got a batch of junk (bought on Ebay).
Try to get the V2 contacts and motion sensors... The V3 sensors also work but are a bit bigger (though they do add humidity.)
They work great.
