It appears the lock and unlock states are reversed.
A Lock Command unlocks the door and the state is shown as unlocked

Manually locking the door toggles state from locked to unlocked

I guess I need to clone the driver and change the lock/unlock settings ?
I am using the generic lock driver on a different Yale Lock (YRD256) and have no issues with it. The messages for z-wave locks are standardized, so if the driver is posting the wrong state then the lock is sending the incorrect messages.
Are you sure you have the lock configured correctly for the side of the door it is on? If it was configured wrong and still somehow working, I could see where the lock itself may have the states backwards.
There should be instructions in the manual for how to configure it for a LH or RH door.
Also jealous because I want that smart lock for my Anderson patio door.
