[Solved] When is Temperature from ST Motion Sensor made available to RM

Basic question- I haven't found an answer yet.. sorry if I missed something.

I want to use outside temp and turn on a heat lamp when it gets too cold.

I have a ST motion sensor outside that know's temp... but when does it actually make the latest temp available to RM? I am unsure how this is going to work. Does it send the temp periodically, only when it also senses motion or what?

Whoops- I just found another post that suggests they will report when there is a 0.5C temperature change. I'll take that as my answer! :slight_smile:
