Just picked up my hub and connected OK.
Installed a couple of DH’s and a virtual device and have it turning on and off with a Xiaomi Motion sensor.
Brilliant so far but…
I’ve gone back into settings and there is no longitude or latitude.
Tried leaving a space and no space between the 2 post code blocks. Caps and lower case.
Watched the video and searched the forum.
Any ideas folks.
Do I need to manually input these settings.
My post office is several miles from my home so I ended up entering my coordinates manually. I used Google maps app to get them. You need to enter them in a specific format, for example the Eiffel Tower is:
48.858255, 2.294669
Thanks for the quick response.
I input the co-ordinates manually and I’m now getting the Sunrise/Sunset filled in.
Hubitat team.
Is this a bug or just something that needs to done outside the US.
If so, you might want to put something in the set-up documentation.
Welcome Bob! I’m glad you got that sorted. Canadian Postal codes were accepted, so my guess is they will sort it out for the UK in short order.
You should send an email to support to log this issue.
We don’t have postal codes for outside of US/Canada yet. But you can enter lat/long manually to get correct sunrise/sunset times.
Thanks. Perhaps put this in the documentation?
BTW should there be a box to tick when a query is solved?
You can edit the title of the original post with (solved)
OK. Will do.
Just thought there would be a solved box to tick as there is on the ST/webCoRE forums.
Not that I’ve seen. @bravenel is there an option in your forums config to add a “solved” tag for question/support posts?
Here is what you see in the topics list.
A ticket box to show it as solved.
And here is where you can tick it as the author of the topic.
And this is what appears under the first post of the topic.
We are looking into adding this.
This should be working now.
