[SOLVED] New user - registration problems

Hi,

Today I received my Hubitat hub (after paying the £30 customs duty for delivery to the UK), but unfortunately I've run into problems during the registration process.

On the portal page listing the hub I click the register button, but nothing happens, the web page is unresponsive. If I refresh the page I'm back to the list again. I've left it for an hour and nothing, Tried restarting the hub a number of times, ensured that it's plugged into the same router as my hard-wired PC. I can ping the hub, blue light on, but nothing else. I've tried repeating the whole process a number of times.

I emailed support a couple of hours ago and I'm waiting for some help, so in the meantime I wondered if anyone had a suggestion that I could try as I'm out of ideas?

I've got exactly same problem. "Register hub" button on portal-hubitat-com, but browser is waiting a while and later I have: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT in browser. I tried to do registration procedure several times, without success.

Edited: Issue resolved, by connecting HE directly to router (bypassing additional switch).
