[SOLVED] Hubitat Virtual Presence Driver - errors in Logs

Im getting the below errors in my logs for one of my Virtual Presence Sensors and I cant for the life of me work out why. I initially thought it might be caused by Hub Mesh, but disabling sharing didn't make a difference. I've been thorough all my rules that use it and none of them are running at the time the error occurs. And this error occurs every minute.

Any ideas?

The Virtual Presence doesn't have refresh command, and as a virtual device, doesn't come with any internal schedules, other than disabling logging function. Either you have an app that calls for refresh or, you used a different driver that scheduled the refresh every minute and then switched back to the built-in driver. If the driver has this task scheduled, you can confirm by going to Device Details page, then check the Scheduled Jobs section. To clear this error, you have to identify where is coming from. Removal of device is the probably the quickest way, but there are other ways too, depending on your findings.

You are right, it does show a scheduled job but I have no idea what is generating it.

Likely you tried a different driver that scheduled the job, then switched back to the built-in driver. Go to driver type, switch to Device type, save, then clear schedules. Switch back to virtual presence and you should be fine.

Thank you, much appreciated. I used the “clean device” driver to remove the schedule and now it’s gone. :+1:
