[Solved] Hubitat Grinding to a Halt

Hi All,

I've emailed support, but last time I talked to them, they suggested that I come here instead of contacting them.

I've got a Hubitat that I'm using to control two Konnected boards and a Zwave door lock. So nothing much at all. I'm finding that it is so slow that rules take minutes to process, the dashboard doesn't load and I can't access the UI through a desktop web interface.

If I look at the logs, there are no errors at all, and there doesn't look to be enough entries to say that the db is being flooded.

Things I'm running:
Konnected
HSM
Life360
Lock Code Manager
Mode Manager
Rule Machine

I've only got two rules set up
GPS Arrive: Gate Open
Door Locked: True=Arm HSM False=Unarm HSM

Based on how simple things have been setup, I'm unsure as to what could be causing this to happen. I find that the system is getting so slow that my only option is to do a hard reboot, as I can't get into the UI, and after a reboot, the system runs like clockwork for a few hours, until it dies again.

Now, I'm not sure what information people need to help troubleshoot, so please, if you think you can help, let me know what you need.

Are there any clues in your Live Logs or Past Logs which might help to pinpoint what is going on?

the clues suggest 'flooding' from some source. You only have two things so... disconnect each, one at a time. You could probably even boot it without the Radio Stick for the ZWave part of the test.

You don't mention the brand of Lock, but we have heard of them flooding the mesh.

You can remove the stick and boot up if your think it's a Z-wave issue. Remove connected apps from the hub and reboot if you think it's a Lan issue.

One doesn't need to remove the stick, the zigbee and zwave radios can be enabled and disabled independently via the web ui.

That's a good point.

Sorry for super late reply, have been flat out at work.
I foolishly had removed the Zigbee stick without disabling it in the hub, so it was constantly trying to connect without success. All is good now!
