This is my first time using Hubitat as well as Zigbee and I'm running into an issue.
I just updated and booted up my C8 Pro (V 2.3.7.146) but it will not locate any of the bulbs that I purchased from Sengled. I have a total of 6 boxes of bulbs and not a single one will pair. This is the first time trying to pair anything to the C8 Pro.
I tried pairing two different models of bulbs and it is unable to find either and nothing pops up when I click "Start Pairing".
I've tried to add the device manually through Zigbee and also through Find by device type.
Model Numbers
E21-N1EA
E11-G13
(Both model numbers are directly from the bulbs)
Here's what I've tried so far
I rebooted the hub
My router is 10+ ft away from the hub
The bulb is less than 1 foot away from the hub
I've turned on and off the bulb 15 times to enter pairing mode (which confirmed with the flashing) (I've tried before hitting start pairing and while hitting start paring)
I've tried different lamps to see if that was the problem
I've tested bulbs from each package to make sure one batch wasn't a dud.
I looked under Zigbee details and it says, "Zigbee is enabled and is in join mode".
I'm at a complete loss here.
I'd love any advice or tips on what I can try next.
After taking a step back from trying to use the C8 Pro, I was able to successfully pair the bulbs (E21-N1EA) with the Phillips Hue Bridge. So it does look like it's a problem with the C8 Pro discovering the bulbs via Zigbee.
I have 38 Sengled bulb on 2.3.7.146. When I first did the transition from my C8 mesh was broken very bad for the bulbs. I am using the Advanced Zigbee RGBW Bulb driver. After powering everything off and the back on I turned on Zigbee discovery and it re found many of the bulbs. I configured them all. Now everything is back to the way it was on my C8. Working 100% I dont know if this helps as the bulbs were already paired and working on the C8 before the transition to the pro.
I keep seeing in other threads that people can discover the bulbs. Mine still never populate as an option whenever I try to pair it. (Even though they are in pairing mode... I've turned them on and off so many times at this point, the neighbors most likely think I'm running some underground nightclub or I have an electrical fault... haha)
Try a different Zigbee channel. 20 or 25 are usually best, just make sure Hue isn’t using whichever one you pick. You can also try increasing the radio power to see if that helps.
Just glad you got it working. You will want some quality repeaters if you have any issues with them staying connected since Sengled bulbs don’t repeat.
Its in the device page itself. After you change and save device after that then click configure in the device page. The bulb will go through a thing and end up blue. Then it is ready to use.
If you haven't yet, take a look at your Wi-Fi and Zigbee (Hub, Hue, and any other Zigbee controllers) channels...Wi-Fi and Zigbee they both use the 2.4GHz channel. You want to keep them from stepping on each other.
