I also have a C4 and have often debated upgrading. Regarding the freezing C4, I used to have this problem. I have not been able to nail down what triggers it, but every once in a blue moon I'd log on to the hub and the response would be unbearably slow and on a couple of occaisions completely frozen. I solved it by installing the app at the link below (also available in HPM) and configured my hub to reboot once per week. The answer is .. probably not BUT you might want to consider having a backup hub just in case. Of course if you do THAT then you would likely want to migrate to take advantage of the newer stuff. Then if you do THAT you would likely not go back to the C-4 in which case you'd probably want another hub as a backup... you know, just in case....
