OK, I know asking for something complex is time consuming. Full on SNMP support would be a serious development cycle. My ask is I would like to have a phase 1 - it does not have to be smart simply a way to know when a trap is sent to my hub on UDP 162 from an IP that I can trigger a driver event. My goal would be to have my app immediately query the device for the information I need rather than waiting for the polling cycle to occur. I don't need to know what was in the trap message, just who sent it (IP) tied to a child device.
I know Hubitat developers are full of requests, coding and sustaining the system. Any help in this would be awesome and worthwhile exercise.
