Anyone have any recommendations for smoke and CO2 alarms that work well with Hubitat?

You can use any just get a single ecolink firefighter to incorporate. (I use Nest protects)

Do you have one for each smoke alarm or like a region? What is the audio range?

If your smokes are interconnected, the Zooz Zen55 is a solid choice.

Supposedly Apple Home will listen for alarms, but I've never tried it.

I use First Alert. Had issues pairing with the old model. But the new one works fine.

I have one in the garage. It alarms on a Zooz ZSE50 chime siren in the house.

You have to place it within a few inches of the smoke or CO detector (assuming you mean CO, not CO2).

If you have interconnected detectors, you can get by with one ecolink firefighter.

Personally, Iā€™m ok with one firefighter per detector. I prefer to use the smoke and/or co detector of my choice in each space that needs one.

Sticking with a detector that has its own smarts is too limiting, IMO.

Heiman do zigbee smoke alarms and also combustible gas alarms. ICost is GBP 24 and 32 ish respectively listed on Aliexpress .HEIMAN Zigbee Smoke Detector Smart Home system 2.4GHz and High sensitivity Safety Prevention Sensor HEIMAN Standard Zigbee Combustible Gas Sensor ā€“ Natural Gas & LPG Leak Detector Both work fine, the gas detector is mains operated . The smoke alarm battery lasts for years and it is loud. There is also a 40gbp battery carbon monoxide detector still available, HEIMAN Zigbee Carbon monoxide detector High sensitivity CO sensor, on Aliexpress. I supect it is near end of life as there is also a thread/matter one available now. There are dedicated Hubitat user drivers for these zigbee alarms as they have been around for years

Are these certified by any reputable safety testing labs? If not, that would be a non-starter for me.
