Smartwings shades Window Shade status stays at "closing" when closed using an automation

Hub Model: C-8 Pro
Platform Version 2.4.3.149

I currently have 6 SmartWings Z-Wave shades installed and am using the built-in Smartwings specific driver. When the blinds are closed via automation, the Window Shade status never updates to "Closed" but rather remains stuck at "Closing" even if the shade position is 0. If I close the shades with the remote, app, or Google voice assistant, the Window Shade status updates to "Closed" as expected. This is occurring on all 6 of the blinds.

This behavior from the automations is causing some of my other automations to not work correctly.

What could be causing this? Is there any workaround where I could forcibly update the Window Shade status?

When this rule runs, the Window Shade status sticks at "Closing"

Example Device Info settings from one of the shades:

Usually Closed position must be calibrated, so that when it hits that mark it reads closed instead of closing. That is usually done outside of Hubitat using the shade remote control or the app, unless you have commands available to calibrate in the driver.

There is also this community driver, though it doesn't look like it does calibration, but it may give you more options than the built-in driver does.

I believe this is Zigbee only, and I think the OP is dealing with ZWave shades. - To my knowledge (and things may have changed), there is no Community ZWave driver (only the built in) - I think there is a SmartWings Matter driver, but none of that likely matters (pun intended) to the OP, I'm guessing

That all said, your comment about closed position calibation makes sense to me, but I thought things wouldn't even pair until the calibation was complete, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Yes, that community driver is for Zigbee. I have Z-Wave shades.

I've still not sorted this and have resorted to a bunch of weird workarounds in the rule.
