Smartthings user think of moving over

simple question is it quicker to run automation's.

example i have a webcore piston that controls a fibaro dimmer 2 that is activated with either a aeotec mulity 6 or a fibaro motion zw5 when they see motion it can take 4-5 seconds for the lights to turn on will the hubitat be quicker.

i did have the lights set up as an automation in smartthings but it was no quicker than webcore and it was limited.

i have some wifi Meross switches and sockets can they be used in Hubitat?

im sure i have more questions to come

I don't have any automatons that take more than a second to execute and some control 10 or 20 devices at a time.

There are a ton of "new to HE" and "changing from ST to HE" threads here, do a quick search and you'll find a ton of info on it, both general and very specific. Good if you come w/relatively specific questions like your above, that's more useful and clearer to answer than "Is HE better than ST?" which is to a great extent a subjective question.

If you can find a DTH in smartthings its trivial to convert it to Hubitat and someone can come along and do it in a few mintues.

Here's the official list of supported devices.
