I know this thread has been quiet for a little bit, but I'm running into issues with Smartly Inject. I can get the PAW and everything to appear fine. I can move tiles and resize them. I even get the notification "There are unsaved changes!" I click save and all is fine and a message appears, "Changes saved!" However, when I unclick the paw, everything goes back to the original layout.
Is it dead?
Fresh install with everything at latest versions and I get Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'map') at for (var d = 0, u = h.tiles.map((function(t, e) {
Paw won't show ![]()
Now I have to edit 72 tiles by hand, boo hoo
I think you might be right. Must be one of newest hub updates as it just worked for me a month ago.
So is smartly dead? Would be a shame. I’ve tried easy dashboards and it still feels like MySpace.
My work on it did not eventuate in the end. Some got it working I thought, without needing it to be updated. I can't see me taking it on like I indicated previously.
You had to make the changes in the setting pages of the dashboard and then click save or something like that. I quit using it after getting tired of having to do all that and use simple CSS editor. Not as many options. But it works for what I need
Yeah unfortunately no way to edit anything anymore. I am still using it but can’t change anything or add anything.
Hopefully my CSS editor will go the way of many things lately, absorbed or re-developed in(to) the platform. There’s nothing that is rocket science, just time and effort, which could quite likely be done better or more efficiently nowadays with modern tools or just a different approach.
That said, it is a good example for someone to use artificial tools to expand with similar patterns.
