Smarthings Aeotec hub to Hubitat Migration

I'm an Insteon refugee and have decided to replace my entire network (60+ devices) with Zwave. I've started the conversion with about 15 switches and a smartthings aeotec hub. I'm using Ultra/pro switches and a few Zooz 5 button controllers for my trial install.

Needless to say, I am very dissatisfied with the cloud based driver for the Zooz controller. Cloud response time is too slow and subject to outage. Additionally, the Aeotec hub/Smartthings interface for automation is very restrictive. After some searching, I discovered the Hubitat and I've purchased one.

Now it is time to plan my migration from a 15 device Aeotec hub installation to the Hubitat. I want to move my devices to the new hub with as little pain as possible. So I'm looking for advice and recommendation on the best way to go about this. I don't wish to keep the Aeotec hub running long term. I just want to move my registered devices from the Aeotec to the Hubitat.

Any advice, thoughts, or gotcha's is gratefully appreciated.

Thanks.

Welcome aboard! While it may seem painful at the beginning, good planning ensures building a solid Z-Wave mesh to last for years to come. Be sure to check out this giude:
