Smart water valve (hose spigot connection) - Sonoff or LinkTap?

It is a Zigbee 3.0 device. It is paired and controlled directly/locally by my C-7.

I should add: it paired as a built-in type (I forget which) that provided a switch on/off capability. That worked for letting me turn the water flow on or off.

Howver, the device has a few more capabilities, which are exposed in this driver: [RELEASE] Tuya Zigbee Valve driver (w/ healthStatus)
(e.g., the SWV will report how much water went through it the last time the value was open)

That driver still has a switch on/off, which is mirrored to a valve open/closed. You can still control it by Rule Machine or any other automation system.

In fact, I iniitally wrote a rule to turn it off/on at several times a day, but I wanted to skip watering when it was raining. That's what got me to the Sprinkler Schedule Manager App, as it trivially handled everything my rule did while also trivially hooking up to a device that provides a wet/dry state.

The SMV just screwed on between my outdoor fawcet and my garden hose. It was trivial to install in seconds.

I'll add the WAF is very high.
