I have a C-8 Pro Platform Version 2.4.3.171. Location is USA (120V mains).
I have two questions and am looking for assistance/verification.
Question 1
I have several locations running smart bulbs (Sengled Zigbee) that are controlled by either a rule or motion sensor. Before I added the smart bulbs, the old bulbs were controlled by a light switch. What I did was put a plastic cover over the switch so it couldn't be used to turn off the new bulb. Am I correct in assuming I can replace the smart bulbs with regular LED bulbs and use smart wall switched that would respond to the same rules that I'm using?
I am looking for a Zigbee/Zwave wall switch that is fully supported by Hubitat.
The Leviton DG15S or DG6HD appears to meet my requirements, but they appear to not be available. The Leviton DZ6HD does appear to be available.
Question 2
Very similar to question 1, I have almost 20-year-old under cabinet puck lights that are plugged into wall outlets controlled by wall switches. I would like to replace them with RGBWW strip lights. I bought a Hue Solo light strip kit and like the ability to extend or split the cables with Litcessory equipment.
I would like the ability to turn on/off the light strips with a wall switch, but with the power off the light strips are dead. What is the recommendation to replace the wall switch? I would need a smart wall switch to control a smart light strip?
Thanks in advance for the help as I try to add some updates to my network.
