Quick question. Are there smart products available to Deadbolt a garage door after it has closed so that even if burglars are able to access the release mechanism, they are unable to lift the garage doors?

LiftMaster makes an automated deadbolt, which is dependent on their cloud. But it is possible to use it directly with Home Assistant if it is modified as described in the link below. And, HA devices can be imported into Hubitat using HADB.

Thanks. Is there a ready made Smart version by any makers. Also, preferably one that can work beyond Hubitat, in the event that you need to allow remote access to a friend when you are away from the house.

Not that I can find. And I've been looking for 4 years.

Searching for zigbee surface-mounted slide bolt or zigbee linear actuator

I want to replace a slide bolt on an exterior steel double door. I don't want to mortise the jamb. I could do a hack with 12vdc linear actuator but I'd rather have off-the-shelf (though I don't think it exists).

To clarify: I've only been looking for zigbee but I haven't seen any zwave while searching.

From the video it looks like you could use any Z-wave or Zigbee 2 channel momentary relay to work with the Liftmaster deadbolt.
