I had a device that lost communications. Zooz Zen55 and I could not remove it until I did a z-wave stick removal. It was originally add using smart add. When I went back to include it. It would not include but it was automatically added because smart add was still in the mobile app.
So, my question is: Was that smart add keeping it from being remove/excluded(power was removed and it was excluded using another an old nexia z-wave hub)? Plus, I guess the smart add needs to be deleted before trying to included it again.
I don't think the Smart Start should have prevented removal.
And yes, if you have Smart Start scanned for a device, and then exclude it (or forcibly remove it) and reboot the device it will automatically include again. To prevent that you would have to remove the Smart Start entry after inclusion.
Can I delete the smart add now even though the device has been included again?
Yes you can remove the smart start entry, the device will stay included and keep working.
