Slowly flashing blue led, C-5 is inaccessible

Hi there,

After a recent upgrade about 2 weeks ago my device stopped working. I only can see slowly flashing blue led light. The device is inaccessible either through the normal 80 port nor through 8081, the diagnostic tool. I cannot ping it either. It should have a static IP address and I can clearly see in my router that it is not connected.

I have tried to reset the network using the switch at the bottom of the device. No luck.

Do you have any other advice I could try?

Blue means the platform is not running. I've not heard of it ever flashing. @bobbyd what say you?

Have you tried a different power source?

It's not a feature. Is likely indicative of a dead hub that is no longer powering up properly. @bertalan.philips if you are within the warranty period or have Hub Protect for extended warranty, you may want to create a warranty case to have your hub replaced.

Actually that helped! Thanks for the help. I wouldn't have thought the power supply got faulty. It was strange that the issue happened right after a version update. Thanks again.

At this point I would do a soft reset and restore to make sure your database is clean. Then get a Hub Protect subscription so that both radios can be backed up (radios aren't backed up with local backups) and that will also allow you to get another hub outside of warranty should this one ultimately fail. Glad it's working for you though!
