Sinope thermostat Can't set time (solved)

Hello,

There is no option, in actions, to set the clock on my Sinope TH1123ZB Zigbee Baseboard Thermostat.

I had a power failure the other night, then found when the power came back on, the display on thermostat no longer displayed the time.

This is not a big issue as I am using Hubitat Rule Machine to change the temperature from time to time, but I like to read the time when I walk by.

I can set the time from Devices, select the Thermostat, then click the "set clock" button, and it is OK.

However, I want to do that automatically when the hub reboots after a power failure.

When making an Action to change a thermostat, there is no option to set the clock.

I can "set heating point", "set cooling point" (although I have no idea why this option is available as the thermostat cannot turn on any kind of cooler), "set mode", "fan setting" (again why as the thermostat cannot control a fan)

There is no "set clock" option.

Must I get with the manufacturer, or is there another way I can do this?

Thanks, Mark.

I would add a new Rule Machine Rule, with a Trigger of Hub Startup. Then for the Action, have it run a Custom Command on the Thermostat. That should allow you to select the "Set Clock" command on that particular device.

Thanks, oglewan, I did not know about custom commands.

I guess there is more then one way to skin a cat.
