Simple RM / Restrictions issue

So I set days of the week in restrictions for a simple trigger I am setting up. Now I want to clear those days but cannot figure out how to do it. I uncheck the boxes for the days but my original restriction keeps returning. There is no "update" button. I can certainly recreate the rule but how do I edit restrictions going forward?

I tried with Chrome/Firefox on Windows, Linux and Android with different plugins enabled/disabled. Is there a way to clear restrictions without removing the rule?

Did you click on 'Done' at the bottom of the page after you have deselected the days?

As soon as I move off the field and the dropdown goes away the settings return to the original. It's strange.

As Bob said, uncheck them and click Done, or uncheck them and click in a blank area somewhere to refresh, then click Done. Both work.

Again when I click away in a blank space or even if click done it does not work - reverts back to the original. I'm now kinda familiar how HE works but this is mystifying.
I tried disabling plugins like privacy badger/uBlock origin etc thinking they might be the cause and tried other platforms. Chrome and Firefox..

I can't even add or remove days - keeps jumping back to the original.

Is this what you mean? This is Chrome on Mac. I have uBlock Origin enabled.

That is totally the desired effect.. however when I click away from the field it pops back to the selection. How did you capture that? I'll send an example?

K thanks - am trying Nimbus in Chrome. Will post in a few.

There's a Windows version. Cockos Incorporated | LICEcap

Yeah, that's odd. I'm unable to duplicate that on a Mac. It's either a Windows issue that needs to be reported to support@hubitat.com or there's something corrupt with that rule.

Can you duplicate it if you create a new rule? I'm thinking it's not the browser if you can't do this on any one of them. Unless you're running some specific plug-in or extension on all of them that's causing it. What about Edge?

This is actually Chrome/Linux. The behavior is the same on my Windows 8.1 machine (kinda been avoiding Win10). Tried Chrome & Firefox on both.

Will create a new trigger and report back.

Unfortunately, it appears that the rule has gotten corrupted. Try recreating the rule and see if the problem still exists.

Yep that must be the issue - test rule seems to work. thank you. Will keep an eye out as to what I must have done to cause this.

So when I created the new rule it went through but I got an error and the subsequent broken link to a log but the rule was created and I was able to edit the restrictions etc.

The trigger was testing for illuminance > 2000 (using the APIXU device) OR a certain time and the restrictions were for certain days.

Seems to be working now fingers crossed.
