Simple Lighting help

So i have this simple lighting setup. This was working fine for a long time until recently. The Garage Side Light is not turning on at sunset with the rest of the lights. The Garage Side Light is a GE zwave switch using Generic Zwave swith DH.

Then I have this other one that turns the lights off at midnight. At midnight the Garage Side Light does not turn OFF like other lights.

I can manually turn ON and OFF the lights via the dashboard or via the device page. Any ideas what's going on?

How long since you did a z-wave repair?

last week.. but not sure if it finished. I'll get one going.

Be sure to find that device in the repair log. Make sure it is getting repaired and routes built. That would be the most obvious reason for this sort of failure. You know the app is sending the command, it's just not getting to the device, or the device isn't responding to it.

so when I am controlling it via the dashboard or the device page, it's using different route?

No. But, that doesn't mean that your z-wave network is solid either. This always fails from the app? Next release will have more logging in the form of app events. You could try rebuilding the app. You could also do a simple test with another Simple Lighting rule, just for testing.

Ran zwave repair earlier today and completed OK. Saw that the Garage Side Light showing up in the repair process BUT the light didn't come on at sunset again today. I manually switched it on via the dash and it went on.

Next test is to delete and re-create the rule I guess.

Given driver I assume this is an older GE model. For years I have had similar issues and the solution has been to turn off the breaker for a few minutes and turn back on. The air gap only cuts the line and not the Zwave radio so breaker is best. This may “wake up” the switch for you.

Interesting.. I'll give that a shot tomorrow.
