I just bought a new Fire 7 to wall mount and use the Dashboard.
I downloaded the Hubitat App but it seems to not be able to find it on my WiFi network. My iPhone seems to work fine. Can someone give me a hint as to how to do this.

You really dont need the mobile app at all.
Go to the dashboard app from your phone or a PC (in the Hubitat web interface).
Then, Dashboard Menu and Links
Get the local link for the dashboard you want to use and email it to yourself or get it to the Tablet somehow.
Bookmark that link and add as a home screen shortcut.
