I don't see why not either. I bought the Show 15 when it came out and returned it after 1 week due to the limitation and restriction. I will probably get one again if we can sideload android apps.
I use a Fire 8 HD Amazon tablet as dashboard, with Fully Kiosk browser controller, and I believe it should be the same.
What is the same? Amazon tablet and show was never the same before.
Although different devices, the process should be the same: sideload the app. I believe that even Fully Kiosk is compatible, once the Fire OS is based on Android. Am I clear now?
It's an interesting device now for sure. I think it's more like afire stick with a touch screen, or it can be. I don't think you can find a 15 inch tablet for a dashboard for cheaper
Just got mine. They have locked this thing down even more since all info on the internet was published. I was able to get it to work but only with the remote. Long story short...STAY AWAY FROM ECHO SHOW 15!!!!!
