Should I mix and match switches or just go with one?

Hmmmm...

That’s a tough one...

IIRC, it’s never happened. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I found this on Amazon that would even work for a 240v in wall heater. This may be the bathroom switch.

Yep that's the one.. I have the toggle version in my two upstairs bathrooms.

@erktrek Eric, are you using this with an exhaust fan?

Scott

yes - with no problems to report. My other switches are Zooz.

Interesting, thanks Eric.

I dunno if it makes a difference but the "toggle" model I have on one of the pictures shows a "fan" icon indicating support. Don't know if the paddle version is different.

The Amazon verbiage looks identical, but there's no mention of Fans in the text, only in the picture on the Toggle one. I'm pretty sure they're likely no different electronically, just in the toggle vs paddle.

It be interesting to talk to GE and ask...oh maybe on Amazon, the Jasco rep seems to answer questions...

Well if you find out let me know!!!

From the manual linked on Amazon for the paddle unit:

IMPORTANT!The fixture controlled by the Z-Wave In-Wall Smart Switch must not exceed 960W (incandescent); 1800W (15A) resistive or 1/2HP motor. The switch is designed only for use with permanently installed fixtures.

So...up to a 1/2HP bathroom fan would seem to be OK.
