Should a group switch trigger a rule?

I give up. Now it will not trigger from the device page either.

If I click on and off on the device page the dashboard updates accordingly, but the rule never triggers. I am just going to make it work by using a bulb trigger and call it a day.

Found the problem, back a couple weeks ago I had a Garage GDO lose connection and the only way I could get it working again was to remove it and re-pair it.

So I had the brilliant idea to export every rule that used the device before I removed it and I would them import each rule after I got it re connected.

For some reason when I imported the rules the other devices I did not change at import and assumed it would just use the device that was already there. It did not it created new devices that were not connected to any actual device so almost every device in those rules had duplicates. I first noticed it right after getting everything set backup and trying to select another hub in the app. I noticed I had two phone presence devices. I found over the next day or so that any device in those rules I imported had duplicates. I thought I had got rid of all duplicates, but I had still missed a couple.

If you look back at the pics I posted you will see in the dashboard the name is Front Porch LIght, but in the rule the trigger is on Front Porch Light, lower case i. I had saw the uppercase I in the name and renamed it but I didn't notice that there were two of them.

Anyway I think I have it all sorted now.
