Shelly Gen 4 Us plug/flood sensor zigbee pairing help!

C8 pro running 2.4.4.155... Eero 6e/6+ wired/mesh wifi ...These are both my first shelly devices and well they have been the most frustrating.... The US plug in zigbee mode makes my zigbee network go crazy and lights will randomly turn and devices will fall off the network. In matter mode the device has to be unplugged every other day, bc it loses connection? So would like to use it in zigbee mode. When in pairing tho things go haywire and the device is never found yet it finds an outdoor hue motion sensor which is only found while trying to pair this plug. Weird i know, have given up on that device and reached out to support as ive never seen anything like it honestly. Ive been a hubitat guy since the C-5, and have around 100 zigbee devices and around 100 zwave devices. I've struggled with devices before but nothing like this one, or the flood gen4. That device is found while in zigbee mode but never completes pairing and a device is never made. In the shelly web portal both devices show they are paired in zigbee mode as well and well there's nothing on my hub saying they are. I've tried countless times at resets and repairing's and nothing is working. There is talk on here about these devices but not much that I've seen anyone having issues like this? Any suggestions would be helpful especially if u have either device paired via zigbee.

One thing that will help is after an unsuccessful pair. I reset the device and put the hub back in pairing mode but this time with "pair while exchanging keys in clear". I paired at least half a dozen of Tuya plant moisture sensors this way.
I find the C8 pro is very picky compare to my C5 but I moved all my devices to the C8 Pro and just have the C5 running all the apps and rules without any physical device attached to it.

Thanks for the replys, i cant get zigbee to work with the gen 4 plug or flood sensor on the c-8 pro. The shelly devices say they are paired via the web portal for those devices but it never completes pairing on hubitats end so idk. Shelly has sent me a firmware update for the plug, i think its just for the matter side which has issues. Ive tried multiple times to update and it always fails, made it to 51 and it timed out. Very frustrating ...

FWIW, I've a Shelly Gen 4 US plug that is joined via Matter and works reliably for me, no issues, I'm controlling it daily and it's been consistently reliable.

@daniel.winks might have some suggestions...as noted above he has a pretty cool app/tool that he's working on that sets up drivers automatically that he's used tested w/the Shelly plug. However, if you're having connection issues that may be more about your network than the device. :man_shrugging:

Yea I considered it being an issue on my network I do have over 100 devices on the wifi well 10-15 are wired but yea. The plug from day one in the matter side just shuts off randomly which I read was an issue. But yet there was never any update for it. The update they sent me is dated March if this yr just canโ€™t get it to install. After it fails the plug goes crazy for a bit turning on/off for a few minutes until it stops. But the zigbee side for both devices obviously isnโ€™t a a network issue. Iโ€™m guessing itโ€™s a hubitat issue but very well could be a Shelly. @danabw have u tried zigbee mode on yours?
