The action URL updates fail (ie the states will not update) in my case as the shelly is on a different VLAN. To fix this simply replace the DNID of the parent device with the hex equivalent of the device’s IP address (just google convert 192.XXX.XX.XX to hex). The DNID is normally preset to the device mac.
