I saw the post for Shelly Device Drivers (No MQTT needed) and the idea for using the button 1 as an arrival sensor. This is exactly what I am trying to do. The hubitat app is fine for presence when I am at home but I'd like to be able to give my in-laws a key chain that recognizes them as an authorized visitor and changes the "away" status if they are here when I am not.
I purchased a shelly gateway (GWF-KZ01) and a Shelly Blu Button 1. I cannot get Hubitat to recognize the button. I can configure a virtual device but it does not seem to actually connect with Shelly devices. On the shelly app I can confirm that the button is recognized by the gateway. When I log into the gateway admin I can see that the HUBITAT BLE HELPER script has been downloaded.
I have spent hours going in circles and I just cannot figure out how to configure this application. Can anyone help me figure out what I'm overlooking?
