I’ve added my first Matter device to my system. The Shelly 1 PM relay. I’m a complete newbie when it comes to Matter. As I understand it Matter devices need to be commissioned on something other than Hubitat so I used Smarthings. Smarthings controls the on/off function just fine but shows no Power metering info which the relay apparently provides. I’ve tried adding the Shelly to Hubitat but have not had any luck so far. I did this by copying the share code from ST and pasting it into Hubitat which sees the Shelly but fails after the process starts. I’m sure this is user error so that’s why I’m here. Do I need to have the relay in pairing mode when trying to share it to Hubitat like I did when commissioning it? Do I need the Shelly integration installed in Hubitat if I’m using it as a matter device? Is there some info I might be missing? If anybody has insight on how to get it added and all functions working I’d appreciate it.
