I got excited around Shelly 1 and installed a few of them, Static IP, no password, HE Shelly 1 driver switch. The initially worked OK, for about 48h, then they started to drop-off the network and be unresponsive. So powering them off and on (which I cannot do often, inside a wall box will eventually bring them back on, but then I had to reset the IP address etc. The rest of my wifi network does seem to have any issues, in my new house for about a year now...
The annoying and stupid thing I did, is order about 5 more after 24h of proper operation...
Anyone has had similar issues, or knows how to fix this ? Alternatively, what would be a good inexpensive Zigbee inside box switch module ? Maybe the Sonoff zigbee one ?
I only have one that I purchased for my father. One thing that I noticed when I set it up is that its web interface has an option to reboot the device if it looses its connectivity. I wonder if that would be helpful in your case? It might require the latest firmware version.
Perhaps the wifi channel you are using has interference.
Maybe try changing the wifi channel on the router.
especially away from your zigbee channel.
If you have a Xbee3 you can scan your channels and look at the channel with the least interference.
