Sharptools

Hi everyone. I have two PurpleAir AQ sensors reporting locally β€” in other words, my C8 just accesses data from the IP address of the device.

Can anyone tell me how I can use this information to set up a tile in Sharptools? I’d like to be able to see the AQI message and barometric pressure in Sharptools.

Thanks so much!

It’s possibly more a question to be asked over on SharpTools own forum, however I’m tagging @josh as he does frequent this forum.

Is the question how to authorize the device in SharpTools or how to display custom attributes from it?

For the latter, the most common approach is using a Hero Attribute Tile layout or using a Super Tile.

For authorizing the device, as long as it has at least one of the supported capabilities (maybe temperature sensor based on the attributes in screenshot), you can authorize it normally.

Otherwise if the device at least reports a generic Sensor capability you can authorize it manually.
