I'm about to leave for 10 days with no cell service and won't be able to keep tabs on the smarthome. Currently my advice is "if anything goes wrong, use the physical switches, or reset the hub."

Do you have any rules set up to "reset" the house periodically? How about capturing the state of a mode and restoring it? Anything like that, post it here.

If reset the hub == Pull the plug: not so good... (there's always a potential to corrupt the db doing this)

Ah, I just noticed the "Shutdown Hub" option.

We "generally" auto recover from a db corruption, but it's just not the kind of bear you want to poke unless you need to...
