I have 18 Bali z-wave shades installed on a C-7 hub. All the shades are direct to the hub. I have a problem where a get a random shade becoming unresponsive to the hub. When I use the Bali remote the shade responds to the remote and again to the hub.
When the shade fails to respond its attributes show it was not moved. I think the problem results from the shade not confirming the z-wave command and being marked pending. When the Bali remote communicates the device is detected by the hub again and all is good. Another fact that makes me believe that the shades are not responding correctly is they have hundreds of reroutes and high standard deviation of communication time in the hub stats.
I have called Spring Window Fashions who makes Bali Garber and others and they say if their remote works then all is good and it is a hub problem.
Is there anything I can do to work around this issue?
